First Thank you everyone for such a great forum!

I received a new SM025 and did the requisite burn in with a couple good pieces of mesquite.
Once that was finished I ran around town and found a good butcher for a pork shoulder.
First shoulder
8.75LBS
220 degrees for about 11.5 hours
coated with CS rib rub night before (could have used more, but wanted to be careful)
Used 2 smallish pieces of Apple wood (lighter smoke for first cook)

Couldn't have been easier or better for a first timer.
Used the built in thermometer and one extra digital remote.

Could have gone heavier with the Rib Rub.
Aluminum foil in the bottom rocks!
The forum series on GFI outlets was very helpful.
