Hey all, My auger motor has crapped out after many years. Upon troubleshooting i have determined that i just need the Eletric motor portion of the assembly the gearbox and auger are fine. the label of the motor is worn on mine so i am having a hard time finding a replacement. CS wants an insane $300.00 plus for a replacement assembly. Can anyone help me identify this motor?

My advice is to stick with CS and install their motor. You know you are getting quality.
Thanks and agree on quality, but I do not need a full replacement assembly, just the AC motor. Hard to pay over $300 which is more than double what they charge for the motor of the PG500 for the whole assembly.
Thanks to some very smart electrical engineers on Reddit they were able to identify it for me. In case anyone else ever needs this information it is a Dayton 1Lnf7 Ac Gearmotor. Cheers and happy cooking!
For motors, you cannot do better than Dayton. An old reliable motor manufacturer.
