I actually have ACDSee tools for photo editing, been using it about 10 years, along with some other stuff. That parts easy.

It's taking them that's tough. I've always used Canon, even back when I was a Professional Sports Photographer. But food and still shoots and lighting are new to me. I want to take my photos up a level.
Russ is Correct, lighting is very key you also have to take alot of shots to get a few good ones. yesterday I bet I took 25 shots to get just a couple of pictures that I liked. I can also tell you tha my wife thinks that I am nuts just shakes her head and laughs .....oh well she doesn't seem to mind eatting any of picture subjects though! ..
