New place in Winston-Salem. Started out slow(no advertising) and now has caught on wild. Parking is an big issue at lunch. I see they are getting ready to knock out back wall. That's some feat in an area steeped in established Q joints.
Had lunch there today. Sliced smoked brisket on Jalapeno wrap w/ beans. A-, very good. Place was slammed. I noticed that the average bill was over $8. Among customers, men outnumbered women 30-1.
Not marketed as "BBQ". Instead of "BBQ sandwiches", menu reads "pulled pork". Could be a clever niche for this area. Only place on menu that says BBQ is describing red slaw vs sweet.
Anyway... was wondering what kind of big ole smoker this is. Electric or propane? Sits just behind counter - pretty cool.
