Between my graveled drive and comps I, like many others, needed to make my FEC100 easier to move. Although I may end up cutting the legs off at a later date, I didn't want to do it yet. I put on 5x2" casters with hard wheels and added a tow bar. The casters raised the smoker 2.5", I know pneumatic tires would have provided a smoother 'ride' but they would have also raised it another 3" which I didn't want. I pulled it around on grass and gravel and think as long as I'm careful it will work. I believe pulling from the bottom will help keep it more stable than pushing it from higher up. I hope.
