I still have not gotten around to doing my first brisket. I am smokin 4 butts this weekend for my wife's choir picnic (this is the wife that said when my new smoker arrived "Did you really need this?) This is the second tyime I have used my 025. I was wondering if I have room in the smoker can I do the butts and brisket at the same time and which shall be on the top rack?

You may want to read Smokin's Brisket 101.Yes your cooker was designed to cook briskets, but there are a few steps.

Kinda like, pork butts are your mom's three wheel bike, and you decided to do "hillclimbs with a large offroad four wheel drive with a winch" where the powerlines crossed over the mountain.

Yep,many of us do it,but we probably studied the route over the mountain-before our first shot for the public.

Just a thought.
