need help locating a dipping sauce for brisket. I found the recipe while looking at the cookshack site, but, alas I cannot find it anymore. It was made with vinegar, and instant coffee among other things. I tried it and loved it,but I can't seem to find it anymore. I've been bragging about how good it was , now everyone wants to try it. Could someone please help????

I have searched this web site for everything that even sounded close. I am now checking weber vitural site, but still no luck. I do remember this sauce had cider vinegar, instant coffee, pureed onions, if I'm not mistaken it was called a black dipping sauce. I found a Kentucky black bbq sauce, but that is not it. I'll just keep trying. thanks
Well, you need to KEEP those ones you like.

Keep searching, the new find feature has lots of options.

You might try searching on ingredients. Use the "advance" find. Select two ingredients, like coffee and onion (or whatever) and see what you get.

Here's one:

Goode's Brisket Baste:

Beef Baste

4 cups beef broth 1/2 teaspoon salt
2 bay leaves 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons unsalted butter 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/4 cup chopped onions Finely grated zest of 2 lemons
1/4 cup chopped celery Juice of 2 lemons
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper 2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 cup minced garlic 2 tablespoons white-wine vinegar
2 tablespoons Jim Goode's BBQ Beef Rub (see recipe) 1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard 1 pound finely chopped bacon
