Can a you leave your CS outside
I am looking to buy a model 008 but have no place to store it but on my deck out in the Nebraska weather. Will this harm the smoker in anyway I will be buying a cover for it please let me know

Mine is not the SS model and it has been outside for a solid year. It is on the optional stand/cart and I have the long cover and keep it on. If you are very worried, get the SS with the stand/cart and the long cover. Mine has zero rust or corrosion of any kind. I clean the outside with 409 usually. I think the trick is to keep it clean and covered when not in use.

Yes, you can leave it outside. Needs to be out of direct precipitation; put it under the eaves of your house. Be sure to cover it and it will be fine. Leave the door cracked under the cover so that fresh air can circulate.
