Controler board question

This may not be the right place to ask this but I was already on this forum. I have one of the early FEC 100 cookers.( no door gasket, no red digital controller) My question is if I want to change over to a control board with the red read out is it just a swap out or is there another temp probe to ad or maybe change the one that is in it now?

Charles,

You can do it with no problem. All you have to do is unplug the smoker. Take the two screws out of the front control board. Take a small flat head screw driver and unscrew the two little screws on the top rear part of the controller. Remove the little white wires and then unplug the color coded plugs. When you get the new controller just reverse those directions. It is real easy to do and should take you about 10 mins of time. If you need any help give me a call.
