I used to swear by Taylor, now I swear at them! My first Taylor lasted about five years then crapped out. Bought another thinking I would get the same service - NOT!

But---The saving grace with the newer Taylors is that they come with either a 10-year or lifetime warranty. I have one in the shop now & for the price of a $4.80 Priority Mail label I'll have a new one soon.

All these digital are probably made in the same Chinese sweatshop for pennies. Even so, I'll probably stick with Taylor.

For what it's worth and all just my opinion! Big Grin
Wow Wheelz.. that's not good to hear. I've had mine for about the same amount of time and it works like a champ. Haven't even had to replace the batteries yet ( but it's not on thw whole cook.. just the beginning and toward the end. Smiler ) Maybe I shouldn't recommend Taylors any longer Frowner But that warranty sounds very good. Proly still the best bang for the buck.. even if you have to have two of 'em, swapping back and forth to the factory.
