It's fine stuff, and if you could justify one of the larger bottles, you won't be disappointed.

It is pretty much their best all purpose IMO.

Add some turbinado to it and have a fine butt rub,and it works well as a poultry rub with the Cookshack mild sauce.

Just a thought.

I don't believe it contains MSG,if that is important to you.
Another thought would be to try their variety pack of rubs so you can sample all they offer. Or call Cookshack and see if they will still sell the Brisket Rub by the individual jar. I bought individual jars of their rubs this past summer, but notice now their website only lists it by the case. The folks at CS are very friendly & helpful - give them a call. Good luck !
I like the brisket rub. If you put it on too heavy it can be over powering. It seems to have a lot of salt in it. I do like the variety of seasonings. I did try to mix it with some other things that were a little sweeter. But for me I think the salt and sugar clashed.

But I did place at one comp with it this year. And did ok at another, but that one had more to do with the peice of meat than the flavor.
