My 09 was clean, foiled, ready to go. Took five minutes to wash up, rub two 7# pork shoulders. Put in the smoker and set to 250. Set therm to 190. Went to bed. Reached 190 after 13 hours. Removed and let sit thirty minutes before pulling. It took thirty minutes to pull the meat. Prepare meat, pull, took about 45 minutes total. Gotta shorten that time. Shh, don't let non CS owners know how easy it is to Q. Oh yeah, they were yummy.

I had a similar experience with the pork butt I smoked a couple days ago newbiejim. But it was even harder for me than it was for you. You see, I wasn't ready to go to bed when I put the meat in the cooker. So I "had" to monitor it and sniff the wonderful hickory smoke for a couple of hours while I smoked a good cigar. What a chore! It's amazing what lengths we'll go to for good 'que.
