Hi barbqr!!

First of all....VERY sorry to hear of your plight! I can't imagine the shock that must have been to you!

I use liquid sweetner in making a few things around the kitchen, I wonder if that would work in your BBQ sauces. The thing you will miss is the richness and deepness of flavoring by the various sugars...brown, molasses, etc. But, it is sweet and you don't have to add too much so it may work fairly well.

The other route, turn into a Texan and don't use any sugar in your sauces!!
