Silly question but here goes.
I plan to toss in a brisket to a cold CS smoker 11 PM ish. Then a friend is stopping by the next morning at 8 AM so he can give me his seasoned goat to add to the smoker. We plan to eat at 2 PM.
Not sure how much wood I will use for the brisket but will the goat get any smoke if I do not add wood at 8 AM. And if I do add wood at 8 AM will I not over-smoke the brisket. To make it more complicated, I wanted to add some ABTs at 1 PM. Do I need to add wood again.
