Had some ribs cooking and went out to check after I didn't see any smoke. The display is dead/blank. Checked power and plugged into a new outlet. Power is there, display is dead. Anybody got an idea for me to try?
what temp were you cooking the ribs? it could have been a grease flare up which it may be the high temp relay.the reset button is behind the control panel, you have to unscrew the 4 screws and pull the control panel foward then you will see the reset.
It sounds like you tripped the limit switch and you just need to push the reset button. It depends on when your oven was made but it is either behind your touch pad control or behind the side panel of your hopper in the back. If that doesn't fix the problem, give me a call (800) 423-0698
Have had it happen to me as well , eddy suggested that i may have my racks hung on the lower peg and thats why i kept tripping the temp limit switch and it turned out he was right .... there is a red button inside the hopper box that resets the whole deal and that is where i ended up having to go into to reset mine...its only four screws and about a 60 second fix...
