FEC Info?

I am having a problem finding information about the design and operation of the FE100. Can anyone direct me to a thread or site that thoroughly discusses it? Can I just buy an owner's manual or is there a pdf file somewhere?

Neither CS nor Fast Eddy show any operating or design info. I still can't figure out what generates the heat and why it can heat up so quickly. It's only powered by 12 volts DC?

Any news yet about the new model coming out?

Are there any comps in Florida coming up where I can see one?

Nick,
let's see if I can help. The burn system is made by Traeger. No heat is generated by electricity. Heat is generated by burning wood pellets. If there is a Traeger dealer in your area, they could show you the burn system.

The system simply uses an auger to move pellets into the burn pot while a fan delivers combustion air.

Thanks for all the info. Talked to customer service and John is sending me an operator's manual and some literature. Definitely an impressive unit! It would be so much simpler to have just one pit to do oink, moo AND peep.

I will definitely try to make the Sebring Jan 7-9. Hope somebody there will be doing birds on a FE100.
Anyone need a volunteer hand for setup and cleanup?
