FEC100 MEAT PROBE QUESTION

I just want to use the meat probe to tell me the internal temp of what I am cooking. Can I not set it to do that? I don't want to use it to tell the smoker to "hold"... Just want it to tell me the internal temp of the meat. Do I need to change the mode setting? Any insight for a FEC100 " NEWBIE" would be appreciated! Thanks!

I don't think you can do that. Tony/Bill @ CS will know for sure.
I'd recommend the Maverick ET 732 or newer ET 733 remotes. They have 300 foot range with HI/LO alarms & two probes.

You'll sleep more soundly during those overnight cooks!

Don't submerge the probes. Wipe them down & let dry.
