Well, glad it worked for you, those brine recipes have helped a lot of people.

For me, I don't brine PB's, but I do inject them with a brine. They're so dense, it would actually take at least two days for the brine to penetrate very far.

What you did it fine, it will actually season the outer portion pretty well.

Also good to see people try new things.
