I have a couple of cooked points that I threw in the freezer. I would like to try to make them into burnt ends. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Temp? Approximate time? Use wood? Rerub?
I usually cook at 235, guessing it would take 2-3 hours to get up into the 205-215 range, I would add more wood and would also rub the part that was separated from the flat. Or mix in rub if cut into chunks.
I've cooked mine whole before, but may try cutting into chunks like Smokin' next time.
