Fuse??

I could be wrong, but I think the high temp reset takes the place of a fuse. Someone else can chime in, or you can conact Cookshack direct.

You know I haven't looked at the inside of a IQ4 in so long, I don't know if it has the fuse or not.

The Traeger controls certainly do.

As for the HT switch, you have to open the side panel and reach in BEHIND the front panel. Take the panel off and have a look.

I have the FEC with IQ4 Controller and I've looked all over for a fuse. So, I really don't think there is a fuse.
However as Smokin mentioned the HT switch is behind the front panel.
I've gotten so good at resetting it that I can use the drill to remove the screws, reset the switch, and be ready to go again in less than 5 minutes.

Smokin, where is the fuse on the Traeger controlers amd what type? I've had the reset trip a few times, but I guess I need to be prepared for a fuse to blow, too.

It's on the controller board itself, it's pretty small, I don't remember what size. Although I've never had to replace mine.

Just unscrew the faceplate, gently pull it out and look.

every traeger controller I have seen has a spare fuse ty-wraped to the fuse carrier.

I called Cookshack customer service yesterday, and Tony told me that the FEC100 does NOT have a fuse. No wonder I couldn't find it!
