Smokin,

Darn, but that 50/55 is KLEAN!

Actually, a pic IZ worth a thousand words. The first time I was about to hang ribs, I had it figured I'd need to cut them because they would hang too low.

Then, I saw your pic and stuck the hook after the 3rd rib bone.

Guess it's time for me to haul out the digital camera. Do I post pics directly here? If so, how? If not where?

Regards, Mike
You need to have the photos loaded to a server that is accessible to the internet, then just use the URL link to point to the photo.

Click on the "Instant UBB Code" and you can either insert the image into your post (using the image button) Or post it as a URL. The above post used both methods.

If you don't have such a location, email them to me and I'll load them on the CS server.

Hi, sfent.

So you noticed ribs turned out better when hung? Me too, although I have no idea why. I would have figured the juices would stay on longer and the temps would be much more even when they are flat. Anyway, they are so much better when hung. I really haven't heard much about that on this forum, though...

And Mike, I found that the wood-box handle makes for a real handy scraper!
