Looks like a La Caja China grill. Don't have one myself, but a friend does. They work very well.

I am looking at the diffences between the two photos and think the La Caja would not hold a whole pig like was shown in the earlier post.
BUT for the price I have order two of the grills you have shown me.

The little porker was 25lbs. Had the head removed so as not to freak out my kids. Injected the quarters with simple bring, put a rub on the belly, and stuck her in. 4 hours in La Caja China (this model can take up to a 70lb'er, they do have a larger one). Came out like one big piece of juicy bacon. Fun cooker for $300.00 bucks.

Yumm...L.A. i see it uses coal, could/would you add chips inside the unit to add flavor? I believe i saw the same unit used in an episode with flay and miami foods...i think?

That's the one.The charcoal is outside the box, so it's not really a smoker. That being said, if you wanted, you could burn wood inside the box before you began the "official" cook. But the taste of suckling pig that has only dranken it's mother's milk; almost like veal. Not worth overpowering with smoke.

I have the biggest version of that cooker. It does a nice job, but they overestimate the cooking capacity. The big one says it holds a 100 pounder. I STRUGGLE to make an 85 pounder fit.
