How long can I hold pork butt after it is at finished temp of 195-200. I can hold it around 140, but for how long?

Wrap in plastic wrap and foil and place in a dry cooler, you should be able to hold for 4 to 6 hours.

Howdy,demerrell.
If the question is how long the butt will be good, held in a heat source like a CS at 140�,you can probably hold it over night.
You would want to add some apple juice,plastic wrap and foil it.
Unwrap,reseason and crank back up to about 250� for about 45 mins. before pulling.
I would probably just pull it, break it down,bag it,cool and reheat it-if any longer than Jim suggested on the cooler method.

Thanks for the help guys. They were falling apart after 12 hrs, so I did pull, refrigerate, and will re-heat today.
