Depends on adults, kids, big eaters, lots of sides. As sandwiches or as piles of Pulled Pork, etc...
Figure 50% reduction in weight.
Then decide how many oz per.
1/4 pd per x 10 = 2.5 lb
1/2 pd per x 10 = 5 lb
Typical butt is 7 lbs or 3.5 lbs finished.

To tag onto Smokin' 2 X the raw weight = the number of 4 oz sandwiches.
If you are feeding just pulled pork on a plate,1/3 lb cooked weight,or 2/3 lb raw weight is a pretty good bet.
Most folks will cook about 10% extra,to be sure they don't run out.

When I let my guests make their own sandwiches on regular hamburger buns, they take about 5 ounces per sandwich. Whether they need one or two is a question of weight class, but my rule of thumb is 6 pounds raw butt yields twelve sandwiches.
