How to estimate food for # of people, eg pulled pork

When trying to estimate smoking meat for a group.

How do you estimate the amount of actual weight starting with down weight when approximating amount of pulled pork one may need?

How much is a service size per person generally they say a pulled pork serves 3-4 lb,

There's a catering spreadsheet that Mike Trump from Oakridge BBQ created some years back.
