After monkeying around with the smokenator and other various methods,I have finally taken the plunge and bought an SM025.Thank God! I was tired of all the temperature swings and maintaining a fire and horrendous cleanups,and having to stay and babysit all day long. I cannot wait to load it up,lock the door,and go swing the clubs and beers for a while instead of tending a fire all day.God Bless Cookshack! I can't wait till it arrives!! Looking forward to making new friends on here too! Big Dan

WOW!!! I decided on just a tri tip roast,3 pounder.Followed the recommendation in the cookbook and went for 2 hours at 225. Then I pulled it out and tossed it on the Weber just to char it up on the outside,maybe 3 minutes a side max and I gotta tell you,this was the JUICIEST,most tender piece of meat I have ever tasted!!! Tomorrow is Brisket day. I couldn't post porn yet cause the phone camera needs a video card.Gonna pick that up tomorrow too so I can post some pics.
