After much research, observation, and convincing of my teammate (wife) I'm dropping the chunk of $change$ and going out to purchase and pick up my FEC-100 today. In a couple of hours I will be a proud owner. I want to just thank everybody for your help, comments, knowledge, and pictures that you have shared on this forum. I will have to say that this is one of the most informative forums out there about a number of products, company, cooking techniques, tips and tactics.
I want to thank Smokin Oakie, Tom, Fast Freddie, and all the others that I can't think of off the top of my head. I feel confidant of this purchase and even more of what the FEC-100 is capable of doing. I just can't wait for the wife to tell me "yeah you were right" once again with our new purchase. Well I must go for now and go get my new toy.
