It was pretty darn bad here on Sunday and Monday. We went without power for 30 hours or so. I sat out on Sunday night watching the green flashes of transformers (or whatever they are) throughout the night. If I'm not mistaken, didn't N. Arkansas get hammered a few years ago...'02?

Whoa...that ice storm brings back vague memories of my childhood in and around Chicago! Delightful to look at, if you don't have to get any possible thing else done...like drive. It makes me want to go smoke something...of course, everything does.

Mountain Home here. Nestled in between Bull Shoals and Norfork Lakes, 15 minutes from world class trout fishing on The White and North Fork Rivers, and just south of the ice storms. Doesn't get any better than that.
