Just a quick note,as that is my home contest.

If memory serves,we ended up 4th overall and we did use garnish.

As Norm mentioned,this was a first year contest,in the heart of Fl BBQ Assoc country.

There were probably less than five regular KCBS teams there.

The judges were used to seeing contests with no garnish,as the normal.

The three FBA teams that placed top three were all fine teams and score well in anybody's comps,including KCBS.

None of those teams felt the need to skip the garnish,when they moved on to a more traditional KCBS contest.

What does this mean?

I don't know,I'm just fleshing out the information. Roll Eyes
