A few weeks back I found the best 13.5# Brisket at Wal-Mart it was Choice and it was in with all the others. It was standing out like it had a big bright red light shining from it. Perfect thickness and the fat to muscle ratio was great.
Absolutely the best I've ever made.
My problem is I've been looking for any decent briskets and they all look like rejects lately.
I only have Sam's and Wal-mart here to choose from but I think I might have been temporarily spoiled.

Yep,Ribdog has been there.Praise them folks for hauling out the extra cases,and drop some comments, at Sam's ,that they are the provider for many top cook teams.They tell that to their customers.

Take the mngr a cooked 10 lb butt and a little sauce,occasionally.

They'll start to order new cases three times a week.

Pick thru them,and try to buy a couple.
