Loud Pop

I started up my Model 66 to smoke some ribs. As it was getting to temperature I heard a loud pop and what appeared to be an explosion inside. I opened it up to expel some smoke, closed it again, and it happened again. What should I be concerned with, besides flying ribs?

It happens once in a while cause some gas pocket trapped in wood and as it burn/smoke it will go off with a big bang. You can looked up history of bang on forum, no harm to food or smoker.
