I bought a Maverick ET-73 last month to use with my new 009. I've been sticking the food probe into whatever is on the bottom shelf, my Taylor into the middle, and the Maverick smoker probe into whatever is on the top shelf. Last Sunday, my food probe died. I sent Maverick an e-mail, and someone responded on Monday. I had a new probe on Wednesday. Fast response, just from an e-mail. Great customer service.

I had a similar experience, They sent me a whole new unit. I can't say anything bad about my Maverick.
