I was wondering if any of you folks from the "State up North", as dear old Woody Hayes would say, make any of that smoked whitefish sausage?
We travel to the U.P. each May to pike & walleye fish, and once you get further north of Detroit it seems like every other gas station along the way is selling it. I never ever bought any. Is it any good and do ya have the recipe to make it?

This is a popular forum, but the post hasn't been out there a day, and whitefish sausage is a pretty specific request, just give it some time. You might also try another forum with such a specific request if you need the info fast.

Maybe someone will jump in, I certainly don't have any info.

Thanks Smokin, I figured it would be confined to Michigan and Ontario seeing as how they are surrounded by the Great Lakes. hehehe, I figured the post would get alot of eeeeeeewwwwwwwsss, it did from me when I first saw fish sausage advertized. it may be terrific, but stuffing fish in hog casing just dont sem right....lol
