My New /Used FEC 750

I want to thank everyone for the help in making my decision to buy the FEC 750. After 24 hours of driving, with no major problems, I made it home. I checked everything out before loading it on my trailer and everything worked perfectly. However, after the long drive home, I had to try it out and everything works except the temp. reading is stuck on 32 degrees. Didn't know if there is something someone could tell me to do or should I just call CookShack?

Call CS. If they are open they shoulf be able to help out. Perhaps even faster then the forum

Thanks, but they aren't open today. Just in a hurry to try my new unit. Like a kid with a new toy, I didn't want to wait until Monday if I didn't have to.

Bet the electronics are frozen. Try a hair dryer or get the unit inside for a few hours. Still talk to Cookshack, but you may hear this from them.

If the temp is stuck, are you getting a fire and it running okay, just not reading a temp?

Did you read the temp there? Could be just a wire came loose?

Everything seems to be functioning properly. Augers, fire in all three pots, rotiserre all OK. I didn't see any loose wires, but I'll check again. The weird thing is it will show the correct outside temp (app. 38 degrees) then after 10 -15 minutes of heating the shown temp. starts to drop to 32 degrees and then it holds there?
