I had a bad experience with my Smokette 09 when it was delivered, but CookShack took care of it and all is well that ends well.
Since I was able to cook with my Smokette, I've been very much pleased with the results. I've done Ribs, Chicken, sausage, and Pork Butt... All with superior results.
As many have already noted, the smoke ring is not what you'd expect, but on some other posts it mentions using a lump or two of charcoal with your smoking wood to nudge the smoke ring along. I'll try this.
Smoke Ring or not, the Q was really good on my new Smokette. Best of all, I didn't need to spend a few hours pre-heating the grill and clean up will be a snap since I followed the directions on these forums and foiled mine.
The smokette is cool and well worth the purchase price. You won't be sorry.
