I have used mine three times so far (in three days!) and the smoke from the door in my Smokette seems to be going away, or at least it doesn't seem to be as much as when I first seasoned it. Just make sure your not cleaning all that brown & black goodness off the inside after a smoke, the chunks & flakes of stuff can go, but leave the sides nice and brown.. thats what makes the seal I think..
