Cookshack now has 3 inch replacements casters for it's smokers (see replacement parts - residential). Getting a set of 4 for my Amerique after CS verifies the thread post is the same. The cost is very reasonable and will make maneuvering the smoker much easier.

I replaced the wheels on my AmQ casters last year. At the time CS didn't have any replacement wheels. The castors currently shown for AmQ replacement don't match mine; at the time the casters were $27.50 each. I was able to find new wheels for $5 each. Depending on the age of your AmQ and type of castor, you may find replacement wheels the way to go.

I replaced the casters on my AQ with 3" ones a couple of years ago. I just removed one of the original casters, measured the thread size, and found replacements on the web. Pretty simple and not expensive.

New wheels are on. Sure makes moving over an uneven surface easy and stable. Good investment/upgrade.

Plenty of castor options with the same thread size and spacing as my Americue at your local Home Depot. I paid about $16 each.
