Thought I'd try some hot-nuts tonight. Went and bought some peanuts, cashews, and almonds. Doused them in a few different marinades. Now they're in the smoker.

NOW, I read they should be "Raw" nuts. Does it really make a difference? And are almonds a different beast altogether (they did have their skins on). The rest of the packages said "roasted".

What a potential disaster. 2 hours + later, and the nuts still aren't done. Guess I also forgot to read about "draining" the nuts prior to smoking.

Pulled the hot peppers and cream cheese. They were mighty fine.

Just accidentally dumped a bunch of peanuts while checking them. ARGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I'll give everything a couple more hours.
