Ordered a smokette from Karen last night via phone. Not sure i can wait 7 days but i guess i have too.

My question - The mailer says you can buy sauce or once you get the sauce and the rub you can make your own. Am i reading it right to understand the recipe tells you everything you need to make your own from then on out or you need to continue to buy the dry blends to make your own? We are part cajun and love HOT on our pork.

Not sure what your purchase package consists of, but mine came with the spice mix to make BBQ sauce. You provide the ketsup, mustard, vinegar, etc., add the spice mix and make your own.

I prefer it because it's cheaper to go to Sams or Walmart and buy those items than it is to pay for prepared sauce and the weight of shipping.
Thank you for your purchase! You will love this smoker.

I believe you are referring to Cookshack Spicy Sauce Mix. It is a dry spice blend that you mix with other ingredients to make sauce. You can doctor it up with whatever you want, including lots of Louisiana Hot Sauce or Tabasco. :-) One lady mixes it with pineapple juice and Dr. Pepper, so anything goes.
