Ordering Smokette Elite, anything else?

I believe it ships with a box of Hickory chunks...maybe some Cookshack rubs and sauces. Call CS to be sure.

If you're planning on keeping the Elite outdoors, order the cover. Other than that, read up on SmokinOkies 101's and the various forums on beef, brisket, ribs, pork butts, etc.

All I got with my SM025 last July was a box of wood; no rubs or sauces.

You'll want to get that smoker on a raised surface of some kind like a cart or table or you'll break you back using and cleaning it.

Get ready to make great que the easy way. Just follow the advice of the experienced cooks on this forum. That's what I do.

You'll definitely want to get it up higher so it is easier to use. Here is a thread that will give you some ideas--"Show Us Your Smoker Setup". It's a permanent thread in the Open Forum.

I ordered some jerky rods at a later date,so if you're gonna make very much jerky, you may want a package of those.

I had Karen switch the grills to stainless for a moderate up charge. Far cheaper than doing it later, and paying a separate shipping charge.

Ok, so I'm getting the SM025, cover, jerky rods, spice kit and upgrading my grills to the stainless. Plus, I've emailed Karen and she's giving me 10% off everything. Can't wait to get everything in.
