Has anyone tried using wood smoke "pellets" in their cookshack versus regular wood chunks? You see these everywhere and they recommend you place a few a foil pouch, poke a couple holes in the top and drop into a charcoal burning grill for added flavor (hickory, cherry, etc.)
Would this void the warranty on the grill by placing a few in the firebox? Would you still need the foil pouch?
Just pondering the possibilities!
