i did bbq chicken last night, turned out real well. Just need to get use to the top down cooking vs the convection cooking like the mak, treager and memphis. I almost forgot to flip my chicken to cook the bottom side. one recommendation is frogmats. i have had those on all my grills and they work very well on the indirect side.
I was fortunate to see this nice grill at the American Royal this weekend and have to say, what a nice piece of equipment. I was surprised at the size of the cooking area, much bigger than the the pics show.

It was built like a tank and looked as if it would last a lifetime, sure wish I had brought some steaks with me to give it a try.

I'm sure your right jmeitz, this has to be a chicken grillen/smoking machine.
