Polder Thermometer

I just bought a Polder thermometer that comes with 2 separate wires to attach to 2 separate items in the oven.

Just read the fine print in the instruction manual, however, that says not to use in a grill or smoker. What gives?

Don't know what gives Gail but I'd take them back and trade them in for Taylor or Maverick brand. Poulders have a reputation for lasting 3-6 months and biting the dust.

Hope you can at least get your money back!
