POLL -- CS Reunion on Russ' Deck

So, have a discussion going here:

So, before the heat, before the Summer Holidays, the idea is this.

Friday night, 6pm on is to gather, talk BBQ and have some fun.

Saturday, we'll talk and eat BBQ all day. We'll discuss the specifics with those that want to attend.

The idea isn't that this is a one man/person show but ALL of us will participate.

I'll be happy to teach some things, I'd like others to teach their favorites from the forum or whatever they like.

More on that once we settle on the weekend, but feel free to comment in that thread for the actual event:

My ongoing travel schedule is so volatile that it's normally nearly impossible for me to schedule anything this far in advance. In this case however, I know that I'll have a couple of days of business meetings in Houston sometime in mid-May so I should be able to dovetail them pretty easily with the party.

At this point, either set of dates would probably work, but my preference would be 5/11-5/12.

SO... what can we do for you? Least we can do is cook something up and hopefully someone will video and you'll get the video.

Ok, to HELP get people here, I'll cook steaks up on the CB. Maybe Friday night.

Like I said Smokin, set a date and announce it and they will come. Maybe get Cook Shack involved with an announcement cause there maybe lots of interest from people who don't visit the forum?? Come on everyone lets get the word out and make this a success!! I think lots of us could learn a lot from this, eat lots of good smoked meat and have some fun as well.
