Got a power outage just after starting a smoke on a 8lb PB last night. I had placed it in right out of the fridge in cold smoker. Meat started at 35F and cooked for probably an hour before we lost power. I left it in there, it was smokey and not-cold to the touch so didn't want to put it in the fridge and hoped we'd get power restored quickly. Anyway it was 5hrs or so. What would you do? Pitch it or let it cook?

But I have a backup as I have marine battery and an inverter so I could have finished the cook in my fec 100. Or I could have fired up my WSM.

No fair, you said oven, not FE 100 or WSM. Can't change your tune in mid stream. LOL.
