Can't wait to fire up my new smoker...really looked at the Cook shack but I think for $819 I couldn't go wrong with the 1460 Pro Smokin Tex...I would like to cold smoke with this but what do I need...I see a flat double thick plate?

Enjoy your smoker. But you really need to head on over to the SmokinTex site. Look up a fellow named Darren Reeves on the site. And come on back when you decide to buy a CookShack. Good luck!
