How big is the Cookshack Nation? Can it be revealed about how many units of the various sizes have been sold? How many are still functioning? More units than the number of members of this Forum? Hmmmmm. Would be interesting to know. (Or maybe everybody knows but me.)

Well, that's a help. 30-35 years. And Donna's daddy was the Founding Father of the CS Nation.

I will post a little bit of the history of the company. Donna may want to add some.
Cookshack was founded by Gene and Judy Ellis. It was incorporated in 1963. Gene had the idea for the smoker and designed it. They also had a restaurant here in Ponca City.
Gene and Judy passed away in a boating accident in 1985. There children, Donna, Janie and Mark inherited the business.
Some where around this same time, we started manufacturing the Smokette for home use.
In 1991 Mark wanted to semi-retire and I came on to run the day to day operations.
As far as how many units we have in the field, it is a little hard to say. However, if would be considerably more than the number of people on the forum.
