I want to smoke several racks (about four) of pork spareribs this next weekend. I am afraid that the ribs might slip off of the hooks that came with my model 50 oven and let the ribs pile up at the bottom. Is there a proper way to set them up (i.e., double up the hooks)? Sorry to be a pest, but even though I've owned my oven for awhile, it's been used less than six times. Thanks for your input! Cool

Hi JohnnyQ,

I've used the rib hooks a few times and haven't had a drop off yet.

If you use the long ends and poke them all the way through in the middle of the slab a couple of ribs down from the end, you shouldn't have a problem. I suppose you could double up, but I haven't tried that.

Good luck,

Hook
