I've just bought my 3rd big jug of rib rub for the year, sounds like Pags might be cooking too many tri tips and not enough ribs, oh well! Confused
MaxQ may be putting the Rib Tickler rub on his cheerios and pancakes, but I'll bet a 12 oz Williams Rib Tickler most of the 7 lbs is used at his restaurant.

Ribs are scheduled for Saturday, but good reasoning. We're probably doing more tri tip than ribs. We're probably doing more seafood and poultry, which don't require much rub, than ribs also.

I get 3 12 oz. Rib Tickler rubs at a time. Last about 3 months. That coupled with the more heart healthy diet dictates our current rub consumption.

We love the ribs, butts, and big hunks of meat but try to maintain a sensible balance between the good stuff and the healthy stuff. Nice thing is I've figured a way to make the Cookshack hum to most everything.
