Series 70 Smart Smoker

Just started seasoning my wifes Christmas gift(Series 70 Smart Smoker). It worked fine for one round. Now it seems locked up. I can not program time or temp. When I press reset I get what seems to be a code IF822. Can not find anything in the book.
Is this a first or has anyone else seen anything like this?

What is a "Series 70 Smart Smoker?" Never heard of it.

It is Cookshacks smallest commercial smoker.It has electronic controls with digital readout. It also has a plug in for a probe for you can cook to a preset temp.
Also since I posted I found out it is very sensitive to outdoor temperature. I put it in our heated garage for about 1/2 hr and it works fine now.
Temp here was about 35 today. It dose not like cold weather.

Any of the Cookshack residential smokers may be used outside in all four seasons with no discernable difference in performance. I don't know if the same applies to Cookshack's commercial models. I would call Cookshack customer service and inquire.

you weren't by any chance operating the SM70 on an extension cord the 1st time were you??

Unplug for 15 mins and see if it resets.

Ignore presetes,and do manual.

Call Tony at Cookshack service.

I tried it with and with out an extension cord.
I had the same problem both ways.
